Pirate Transmission #6: "Professor Robot's Crafty Dorks" #Spotify Playlist

Pirate Transmission's

The concept of the whole blog was built around The Clash's "This Is Radio Clash." In other words, I am metaphorically beaming transmission's from a Pirate Satellite in the hopes of building a community around music by diverse artists.

The playlists are a manifestation of that dream.  You might say, "I have never heard of that artist" which is kind of the point. Great new music is all around, and if you give it a listen, you will have FUN!

To date, in approximately 30 playlists, I have only repeated a few artists and never the same song (unless by different artists). Each playlist is about 40 minutes long. And I try to include details of all the artists (click on the band names or artists below).

To clarify, I do YouTube playlists on the weekends that do sometimes repeat songs from these playlists. But, I spend all week working on each Thursday Spotify playlist.

The names are an homage to Captain Beefheart.

Or you can always JUST HIT PLAY!
