#YouTube Playlist: I "Kill Rock Stars" Too (Metaphorically...Duh)

Why (I) Kill Rock Stars

One of my goals is building music community. In the last few week's I have been running a feature called Blog 2 Blog where I highlight other music blogs. Today, I am trying to build community in another new way by starting to build #YouTube playlists highlighting independent record labels I like and/or admire.

I am starting this feature off with one of my old favorite labels "Kill Rock Stars."

I am focusing this one mostly on newer acts on the label. But, this label, at one time or another, housed some of my all-time favorites like The Melvins, Elliot Smith, Heavens To Betsy, Bikini Kill, Sleater Kinney, and of course, once upon a time,  some Seattle band whose name starts with the letter N.
