The "Holy Sin Cigars" #Spotify Playlist (#OPS Transmission #27)

#OPS Transmission #Spotify Playlists

Every week I put out a new curated playlist for your listening enjoyment (skip down to the next section and hit play and skip the talking).

The goal of each playlist is to present a coherent handshake between alternative music artists and genres from the 1950's through today and to inspire people to explore, enjoy, and share new music (most of the lists start with music from the 70's through today).

With all my playlists, you can "Just Hit Play" or jump down and click on the Band Names to get my version of Easter Eggs.

Last week's playlist was called the "Ghost Crazy Lithium" #Spotify Playlist. and I want to thank Vomitface, Beach Slang, and Childbirth for giving their approval to the playlist on Twitter and for the massive support from Google+.

End Notes

The winner of the poll for best 2016 song on last week's playlist was a tie between several bands but the winner of the poll for best "Old School" song on the playlist was Nirvana's Lithium (by over 100 votes). Thanks to everyone on Google+ for the over 200 votes total.

I was happy Lou Reed came in second!

I absolutely included Charles Bradley because his performance on Luke Cage was sick.

Yes, I included Vomitface two weeks in a row, I think their album is really good (you might also be seeing an interview with them here soon).

I call my playlists "Pirate Transmissions" because of the song "This is Radio Clash" by The Clash

The crazy names of the playlists were inspired by Captain Beefheart.

My blog motto is Explore, Enjoy, and Share New Music!
