The crazy names of the playlists were inspired by Captain Beefheart.

RIP Alan Vega (Suicide)...and more recently Leon Russell, Leonard Cohen, and the great Sharon Jones! You are all sorely missed!

Yes, #IHateRadio is a response to I Heart Radio. And many of the songs on this list were picked for reasons pertaining to Election 2016.
