Okay, well that is my theory, please feel free to tell me what you think!
Oh, also, Lucid Dreaming is a real thing and even magazines like Scientific American write about it. In fact, Scientific American is one of the many sources that I read before suggesting this theory.
I am not suggesting that the show is going Sci-Fi at all. By saying that they are hacking time, I mean that Whiterose, Angela, and Elliot are making all 24 hours work for them by contemplating while sleeping.
