Every Tuesday (or Monday night) I put out a new curated playlist for your listening enjoyment. You can "Just Hit Play" or check out the song list below for Easter Eggs about the bands.

Last week's playlist was my "Cocky Chulas Love” playlist, you can listen to it HERE.

1. Revy, Pascal, Revy (Novoton, 2016)

Has a real classic cinematic dark rockabilly feel to it...very femme fatale. Like Cowboy Noir. I think that they are Swedish since Novoton is a Swedish label. Love it.

2. New Kind of Kick, The Cramps, Off the Bone (Illegal Records, 1989)

This was the compilation album when The Cramps re-released all the old hits under their own banner. If you didn't know, I love The Cramps. Just following Cowboy Noir with some classic Horror Show Rockabilly fun (RIP Lux).

3. Beyond the Grave, The Dahmers, In the Dead of Night (Lovely Records, 2017)

Keeping the dark rockabilly vibe rolling with this one. Although this one is a real burner too. Not sure, but I think they may be German? Nope Swedish. Lots of Sweden lately.

4. Remembering, Bad Breeding, Bad Breeding (La Vida Es Un Mus Discos, 2016)

One burner needs support from another even more intense punk burner. They are from the UK.

5. That Clown's Got A Gun, Uranium Club, All of Them Naturals (Static Shock Records, 2017)

This is the third time I have pushed a song from this album by this great Minnesota band, and I still love it.

6. Everything All The Time, Ulrika Spacek, Modern English Decoration (Tough Love Records, 2016)

Had not heard this one before, there is a depth to the chord work I really like here...and I needed to step it down just a little for a second. Hard to sustain that much aggression. Ulrika Spacek is from the UK.

7.  Red Hot Sand, Flat Worms, EP (Volar Records, 2016)

This might be my favorite song on the entire playlist. Just a full on blast of eccentric spastic energetic fun. I think this is a supergroup including members of Thee Oh Sees (almost no press I could find).

8. I'd Kill For Her, The Black Angels, Death Song (Partisan Records, 2017)

What an amazing song, I wanted to return to the feel of the first track with a bit more intensity before I changed the tone. I was trying to signal the end of the storm and move into the calm after the storm. The Black Angels are from Austin Texas.

9. New American Dream, SeepeopleS, Hate EP (RascalZRecordsZ, 2017)

This should be an anthem after all of the fawning that followed the recent bombing of that Syrian airfield. This song by seepeopleS (from Maine) remind me of Kill The Poor by Dead Kennedys.

10. Tummy Ache, Diet Cig, Swear I'm Good at This (Frenchkiss Records, 2017)

I am still angry about Pitchfork's review of this album. Look I get it, there is a thin line between earnestness and schmaltz. But, I am pretty sure Diet Cig are singing from the heart and it is kind of cruel to take statements like this song and mock them. Shame on you Pitchfork.

11. Flowing Over, Palehound, A Place I'll Always Go (Polyvinyl, 2017)

I dunno, I like Boston's Palehound, this is their new single, it fit here :).

12. Clid, Washer, Flagland/Washer Split EP (Exploding in Sound Records, 2015)

I have featured the band Washer a few times before, I really think they are good. Worth your time.

13. Words, Outer Spaces, A Shedding Snake (Don Giovanni Records, 2016)

I wanted to end on a more open and dreamy but still cinematic cowboy vibe. So, put your top down, turn up the volume, and ride off into the sunset.

Tomorrow is the launch of my new "Cocobolo Times" recap of Better Call Saul. Thanks for all the support for the Orange is the New Black, Mr. Robot, and Black Mirror recaps.

I call my site "On Pirate Satellite" because of the song "This is Radio Clash" by The Clash. And in case you missed the first Clash album turned 40 this week. If you have read the site for long, you know the bones of the site were born in the love of Clash music (and that the first person to ever leave a comment was the great early Clash guitarist Keith Levene).

The crazy names of the playlists were inspired by Captain Beefheart.

Okay, that's all I have for this week. Explore, Enjoy, and Share Music!
